All About Attachments
Attachments are stored in the Attachment table and can be linked to many specific transaction or record types. Some examples include Customers, Bookings, Memos, Pick Tickets, Work Orders, Vendors, Bills, Bagging requests, and more. The process looks similar across the board, regardless of the area.
Add an Attachment
Go to the Attachment tab and click the “+” button. Select the type that matches what you are uploading and choose the document from your file selector. Your file should appear in the Attachment popover. To close the popover, click outside of the popover box. You can provide a description of the attachment by typing into the description text box.
NOTE: For all PDFs, we recommend selecting “PDF” instead of “File” as the type. This allows you to view the PDF in the attachments popover without having to export them each time. When File is selected, it will only display the file icon and the attachment will need to be exported for viewing.

Go to the Attachment tab and click on the attachment in the portal. Click the share icon (a box with an arrow at the top) to open the attachment popover.
To download the attachment to your computer, select “Export” and set the name and destination for the file. Depending on the attachment type (specifically a PDF), you may be able to interact with the attachment in the popover. You can right click on the attachment for options.

Delete an Attachment
